Girls Trips Are Great for Refueling
Our stay at the W in Ft. Lauderdale was Wonderful. Our suite was beautiful, immaculate and came with a magnificent view of the ocean.
Any time spent at the beach is a transformative experience for me and turns into one for whomever I’m with as well. Nothing beats the waves bountifully crashing ashore, the sand naturally exfoliating the body and bathing under the the sun’s nourishing rays. This is one majestic experience that I never take for granted. The ocean is always willing to help us celebrate and/or wash away what we are ready to release. I could literally lay on the beach for days.
Museum Magic, Good Food, and Lovely Company
While we did have two ugly experiences on our excursion down Las Olas - WE made THE BEST of our time there. We laughed, shopped, explored new spaces and of course - blessed the Boulevard with our #BlackGirlMagic.
The food! The Mexican spot was poppin’ and of course we had to find a sea food restaurant! It was amazing. We topped off our fine dining with a trip to Ruth’s Chris where the lights were dim and we were dressed to express - our magnificence that is!
Our last day I decided that I would squeeze in a trip to the Ft Lauderdale Museum of Art. I was so happy that the ladies joined. We closed out our trip with a celebratory toast of fine wine- it was beautiful.
It doesn’t have to be a stay at the world famous W but this is the type of experience I want for you!
