It‘s always a pleasant surprise when people let me know that they SEE me. I am one to sincerely lives my life as ME, doing only what comes to me naturally. So when someone takes the time, THEIR time, acknowledge me, and to NOMINATE me for something- I NEVER take it for granted.
To have a dear friend nominate me for the first annual Her Tribe Brunch Awards and to have a few other friends come to the event - was an experience that upgraded me. It’s one of those experiences where I walked away standing a little more taller, my head a little more high and my heart definitely more full.

The Food- #OMG
Soleil Kitchen is the presenter of the annual brunch and when I say the food was (and is) delicious- I mean amazing! Everything was prepared and presented beautifully. There were bottomless mimosas of a few different flavors and lots of other treats floating around.
In Great Company
Not only was I a recipient of the award but I was in the company of a few women who are entrepreneurs, professionals and leaders making strides in the community who were being honored as well. The exchange of energy by the attendees was nothing less than respect, support and admiration. I witnessed a lot of great connections and bonds being made that day.
The Venue
The Confetti Room is an event space nestled right in the heart of Over-the-Rhine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Putting my meeting planner’s hat on, I could tell that every detail was intentional and placed with care. The run of the show to the table placement and decor was impeccable. The selfie wall, the serving room, the entrance decor, the mimosa bar and music selection were the cherries on top.
You don’t have to be nominated for any award to be worthy of any of this. This is most definitely the kind of experience I wish for you!
