For about 15 years I’ve been retreat hopping. It‘s been AMAZING. From spiritual healing, to community advocacy, to professional and entrepreneurial development- I’ve explored a few different types.
The leap of faith I took to head to Selma, Alabama to stay at the elegant, then Dance of the Goddess Bed & Breakfast for the Goddess Millionaire Retreat was well worth it.
The Welcome was Warm, The Power was Real
From the moment I arrived I knew it was about to be on! Attendees were greeted with hugs from the owner/facilitator and the smell of sage and other exotic fragrances. We were sweetly directed to our rooms. They were pristine, designed beautifully, full of character and each equipped with full bathrooms. I believe my room was titled: Women Who Run With the Wolves.
We Were Activated
The spent time in rituals of release, honoring ancestors, creating bonds with one another and staking our claims as filthy rich women - for ourselves and our bloodlines. I mean, every detail was curated intentionally and to the ‘t’! The presence of the buffalo rug in our workshop space brought medicine everyday. It was hallowed, sacred grounds.
Our host, a serial business woman, mother and bad ass DID NOT hold back. From business mapping sessions with each attendee, to lessons on GOLD, to sharing
big laughs and breaking bread, to excursions into Selma to visit Old Cahaba to pay homage to the enslaved and then baptizing ourselves in the sacred well - I can definitely say I left this experience knowing that I was transformed.
We all arrived open and ready and departed Caped & Crowned!
It doesn’t have to be a retreat in Selma at the Dance of the Goddess- but this is the type of potent and fun experience that I want for you!
